frikadeller: Someone was asking me about braids. This is roughly what I do when I draw them (but more…. in 1 sketch layer, all in one step, because I’m too lazy to do the proper outline, but if you’re confused, or still figuring out how they works especially when twisted or in motion, then outline will help). You can also try braid your hair or someone else’s hair to see how it actually works, the folding, and also the different styles. This is really very basic and just to get you started. Braids aren’t scary! They’re so much fun to draw ok ok ok <3
